Who is using it
We have some examples for you as to how the miniplayer can be used.
Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch in San Antonio Texas features the miniplayer on their Groups & School page. This page didn’t need a standard player, but rather a small one explaining to visitors about the various tours available, and linking them to those tours. Check it out at www.wildliferanchtexas.com
Gourmet Station has the miniplayer as the only video element on their home page. They are using it to highlight gift offers and coupons. They plan on adding more video players to the other pages of their site in the coming weeks. They didn’t want to dominate the home page with video, but rather use it as a supplement to pictures and text on that page. See the player in action at www.gourmetstation.com.
Why an Interactive Miniplayer
The Interactive Miniplayer allows viewers to click on the objects on the video, linking them to anywhere on the Internet. When a viewer clicks on any item in the interactive video, information about that item appears in the lower portion of the player.
The Miniplayer is designed to fit in the side column of a typical website. You can use it to promote items without making it the focus of the site.
The Miniplayer is 300 pixels wide X 297 pixels high.
You can use either or both players on your site (or your clients’ sites) for maximum flexibility and effectiveness.
Your Ad Campaign and the Miniplayer
The miniplayer gives you great versatility in displaying video on your site, not only for products or services you might be selling, but also for monetizing by selling ads to other businesses.
You can place up to three videos in the player, and just like the standard player they will link to anywhere on the Internet.
You can also take the player code to paste the miniplayer on a blog page.
Include links in your email campaign to where your players are, or post the link on a social networking site. The possibilities are endless!
